Soapstone Powder
Soapstone powder, commonly referred to as talcum or talc powder is a fine, soft mineral substance derived from soapstone – a metamorphic rock that is predominantly composed of talc with the chemical formula Mg₃Si₄O₁₀(OH)₂. Known for its smooth, greasy texture, this naturally occurring mineral is characterized by its high purity, softness and ease of processing. The powder ranges in color from white to gray, depending on its source and composition and is chemically stable under a wide range of conditions.
